August 31sth

Hye Guys,

Wow, it's been a long time ago since I've post some interesting things about my life in The United States.
Well, in the mean time, I went to the smoky mountains with the other exchange students. It was en AWESOME day, and we did some tubing. The weather was great, great company, and offcourse some beautifull nature.
After the smoky mountains, we went to the nike outlet, to buy some sport clothes.
On the way home, we went to pigeon forge, wich is one big road in North Carolina who looks like the 'Las Vegas' from Tennessee :)

Once we got home, Bruce took me to the local football game Harriman-Kingston. It was u big deal, I can tell you ;)
It really was like they show us in the movies. The cheerleaders, the band, the 'popular' football players. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience !

Saturday Brayden came to swimm with us, and after that, we went to a baseballgame from the smokies. At the beginning, it was hard to understand, but et the end I could enjoy myself. Some popcorn and a coke in my hand, and I totally felt at home :)

Sunday is traditionally church-sunday. We went to sunday school, after that we went to the service, and after that there was this womensmeeting, with food offcourse :)
We discussed some difficult topics, such as the food they're gonna make for the next meeting :) I was kind of in a good mood, so I suggested I would make some Belgian Waffles. After all the food, there was this women who came to talk about domestic violence. I must say, I was impressed ..

Monday was my first day of school. I was really nervous, but everything fell on it's place as I went in my first classroom. The spanish teacher was really nice, such as the Alebra teacher.  She gave us a lot off homework allready .. That really sucked :( And we already had a test planned on the second day of school ..

Tuesday, I had my first lesson of Macroecomics ( at 8 o'clock :( ) and American Government. I was still tired in my lesson Macroeconomics, but it wasn't that hard, so that went well :) The American Government was fine, although I didn't knew many answers on the quiz we took toghether.

Today (thursday), I had my first guitar lesson, and that's the nicest lesson I've had since I've been here :) This evening, Diana made a lovely meal for the whole family. I played a little with Brayden and Addyson, and now we're looking offourse to the convention on the television. Mitt Romney will give his speach tonight, so probably all the Americans will stick to theie television tonight.

Hopefully everything is going well in Belgium, and I hope you're all doing well !

Kind Regards, Sara
